Synopsis:
Convicted pedophile Walter (Kevin Bacon) -- paroled after 12 years -- returns to his hometown eager to rebuild his life. But as he settles into a lumberyard job and begins a relationship with a co-worker (Kyra Sedgwick), Walter struggles to suppress his inner demons. Also starring Benjamin Bratt and rapper Mos Def as a suspicious cop, director Nicole Kassell's thought-provoking drama explores the fallout from Walter's acts on those in his orbit.
